Emotional Freedom Technique is a combination of Ancient Chinese Acupressure and Modern Psychology.
Tapping quickly gets to the heart of the issue, working to rewire the brain, calm the amygdala, and create safety in the body to ease stress and release trauma.
Tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT) provides relief from chronic pain, emotional problems, disorders, addictions, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, and physical diseases.
Tapping is a set of techniques which utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips – literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
It’s one of the few techniques that actually focuses on the negative emotions like “I can’t get anything done. I’m not being productive. I can’t focus today.”
The body, like everything in the universe, is composed of energy. Restore balance to the body’s energy and you will mend the negative emotions and physical symptoms that stem from the energy disruption. Tapping restores the body’s energy balance and conquers negative emotions.

What is a shower tapper? I admit the technique can look silly…so I confess that I tap in the shower. The shower is private and very cleansing.
Each day I get in and ask myself, “what’s up?” and then tap on the issues that are conflicting my mind.
Overwhelm is one of them for me…I’m a creative mind so there are many things I want to do. Tapping helps me to stay focused.
EFT is an amazing process and highly effective for so many things from productivity, to finances, to stress, to pain, to PTSD, to fears.
